About
Dan Reitz is a musician, educator and comedy professional based in New York City. He is the musical director and composer for many of the world's most celebrated musical comedy shows, including Baby Wants Candy, Your Love Our Musical, BLANK! The Musical, and Vern.
When not performing, Dan composes and produces music at Dan Reitz Studios in Queens, New York City. His music has been featured on This American Life, podcasts by Gimlet, Audible and Earwolf, on television commercials, and on stages throughout New York City.
A lifelong educator, Dan has taught at Princeton University, Collegiate School, and the Bank Street School; he currently teaches at Sarah Lawrence College.
